Mrs. Marion A. Grindstaff

March 18, 1955 ~ October 20, 2019 (age 64)

Obituary

Marion Ann Grindstaff, of Cape Girardeau MO, passed away on October 20, 2019. She passed peacefully in her home.

Ann was born on March 18, 1955 in Sikeston, MO to Benny and Doris Faye Cohen, who both preceded her in death. She was married to her husband John Grindstaff for 16 years before he also preceded her in death.

Ann loved everyone with everything she had.  She loved hard and unconditionally. She had the most beautiful, kind, non-judgemental soul. She was the biggest cheerleader of her children, grandchildren, and siblings.  She was always there with a kind word, beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and sound advice. She was stubborn and lived life on her own terms. She loved her coffee and cigarettes. She loved her family and friends and had a sass only someone as sweet as her could pull off if you stepped out of line. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Ann is survived by her children, Luke (Andrea) Pavone, Mark (Alicia) Pavone, Maria Pavone (Tony Wilhelm), and Laura Pavone (Christopher Beasley). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Dylan (Jacqueline) Pavone, Mena Pavone, Alyssa Pavone, Alexis Pavone, Lilliana Jimenez, Charlotte Pavone, Joseph Sevilla, Anthony Sevilla, Nicholas Wilhelm, and 1 great-grandchild, Liam Pavone. She is also survived by her siblings Wanda Raucci, Benny (Trish) Cohen Jr., David (Retha) Cohen, Sherry Cohen, Michael Cohen, and Brian (Holly) Cohen, as well as many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John and both of her parents.
