Rose Maria L. Charleston was born on March 31, 1922 in Columbus, MS to Mr Jorette Charleston and Rose Lee Simms. She was the oldest of four children to this union.
At the age of sixteen, Rose aka Maria moved to St Louis, MO. At nineteen, she met her first love John Demarr. They were joined in married when she was twenty years old. Within their union, they had five children, 3 girls and 2 boys. In 1957, unexpectingly her first love John Demarr passed away. Years later, she would meet and marry Clifford Otto Kaiser on February 14, 1957.
For many years, Rose worked at Fairmount Race track and Jewish Hospital. Before retiring, she was a personal Inhome healthcare provider.
While she was a country girl at heart, she shined like a bright star as a St Louis social butterfly. Rose had a love for traveling and dancing. She spent many hours on the road with her grandchildren visiting other family members.
At an early age, she dedicated her life to Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Kaiser, her parents, her siblings, one son John Demarr Jr (Junior) and one daughter Sylvia Guynn and one grandson Roderick Pullen.
Rose leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Joan Demarr of St Louis, MO Maxine Hutchens of Fayetteville, AR and one son Larry Demarr of St Louis, MO, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
