Shelia Ann Jones was born to the union of Jesse and JoAnn Jones on February 18, 1965 in Poplar Buff, MO. The Lord saw that Shelia had grown tired and sent His angels to her beside to carry her home on September 11, 2019.
Shelia attended Scullins Elementary as a child and graduated from Southwest High School, both in St. Louis, MO. Shelia held various jobs throughout her life, but nothing ignited her more than caring for others. Her passion led her to the nursing field where she obtained her CMT certification and worked at Royal Oaks Nursing Home for over 20 years.
Although Shelia wasn’t an active member of a church, she confessed her life to Christ and would often attend services at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with her sister Felecia. Shelia had a keenness for fixing things and was often jokingly called a boy by her family. She would always be the one to fix and put things together. Shelia was also known for her ability to cook great meals, something she loved to do for her family and friends. Shelia’s favorite pastimes included spending time with family and going to the casino.
Shelia has now gone home to be reunited with her father Jesse L. Jones, and two nephews Stanley T. Dotson Jr. and Danny R. Higgs Jr.
