Master Dormarion Jamarr Hampton

Dormarion Jamarr Hampton was born on November 25, 2007 to Tiffany Ford Poe and Dormond Hampton. He was the second eldest of six children. His grandmother Shirley Ford, grandfather Earl Hampton, great grandmother Emma Simon and uncle Terrell Robertson all preceded him in death.

Dormarion gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Jennings Middle School, where he graduated from 8th grade. His passion was to become a chef.

Dormarion was loved by everyone. He had a smile that would brighten your day. Dormarion filled our hearts with love and he was very respectful. His younger brothers were his world. He will forever be the best big brother. Dormarion was a very intelligent young man who loved to be around his family. He was very devoted and dedicated everyone, from home to school.

Dormarion was a son, grandson, big brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He loved to eat and he loved his sunflower seeds. He also enjoyed playing video games, watching movies and eating popcorn. Dormarion just loved to have fun and enjoy life. He had also grown a newfound love for building Legos.

Dormarion left us on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 1:50 p.m., at Children’s Hospital. He fought a good fight not only for himself, but for his loved ones also. The Lord has called one of His precious angels home.

He leaves behind: his loving mother Tiffany Ford Poe (Ronald); father Dormond Hampton; grandparents Eugene Ford Sr., Dorothy Sleydin, Cornette Jones, Everlena and Chester Robertson; six brothers Deron, Aidann, Blesson, Jouel, E’Morrion and Sincere; two sisters Deja and Allyssa; seven uncles Eugene Ford Jr. (Nicole), Christopher Ford, Calvin Ford, Dawayne Robertson, Timothy, Charles and Butch; four aunts Dianne Harrison, Pertrice Oscar, Kayla Robertson, Shalonda Mitchell and a very special aunt Jennifer Burgess; a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
