Andrew “Babro” Roberson was born October 13, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Alma Mae Marshall and Sydney “Sadie” Roberson. He was the youngest brother of seven at the time, hence the nickname “Babro”.
He enjoyed music, flavorful food and a good cowboy movie.
Babro readily acknowledged the existence of a Supreme Being and sought ways to be familiar with Him. He was employed in various fields from slaughter houses to truck driving, but we all knew him as a hustler always on the go.
In 2008, a life changing event, a car accident, presented Babro with a new challenge. Since then he grew in knowledge, patience, strength and love that can never be diminished. He was a brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, Papa, Granddaddy and Daddy to those who loved him the most.
Babro is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tommy Lee, Leon, Sidney, Peggy, Debra and Lena.
Babro is survived by his siblings, George (Diane), Nancy, Elizabeth and Anthony. He has left behind children and grandchildren to cherish memories: Jacqueline (Allahja, Kai, Joziah); Sholanda (Keith Jr., Rose, Dayvion); Brandi (Jermaiya, Jermane Jr., Jermaria); Jocelyn (Jo’Quez, QuezTion, Ja’Qafion); Geton (Sharmaine, Jermaine Jr.); Ryan (Ryan Jr., Kendrix, Ra’Niyah); Cin’Quinn (Mieshell, Demetrius, Roman, Cin’Quinn Jr.); Khorra (Zy’Ariah, Zaylah, Zora, Fayth); Taneshia; Sidney (Jacyeon, Sydney); and two great grandchildren Zoey and Rosie. He also had loving relationships with a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, nurses and caregivers.
