Mr. Brian K. Fortson

Brian Karl Fortson will live on in the hearts of his family members and friends.

Brian was born to Beverly and Erma Fortson on November 28, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. Both parents preceded him in death. Brian was the youngest of two boys. His brother, Allen also preceded him in death.

Brian attended Southwest High School where he excelled in football. Graduating in 1982, he attended Florissant Valley Community College where he pledged Phi Beta Sigma.

Brian was a loving, kind, and very generous person who loved his family and friends.

The Lord came and gave Brian his wings on June 25, 2021 at 5:30 a.m., at Saint Louis University Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his life and many memories: his sister Jocelyn Lipsey of Jeffersonville, IN; his closest cousin Raymond Gillespie of St. Louis, MO; two best friends Cortez Wraggs and Daniel Lee both of St. Louis, MO, and a host of other family and friends.
