Charles Curtis Ward was born January 13, 1982 to Lorraine Tinker Alexander and Clayton Lamont Buchanan in St. Louis, Missouri.
Charles was educated in the St. Louis Public School District and graduated from Vashon High School.
Charles departed this life on September 11, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother Antwon Buchanan and his sister Octavia Buchanan.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Dikisha Nunn, Alejandra Ward, Keyshawn Smith and Charles Ward Jr.; his loving mother, Lorraine Alexander; stepfather, Kerry Payton; four siblings, Tracy Graves, Erskin Buchanan, Brandy Carson and Octavia Buchanan; grandmother, Velma Payton; aunt, Janice Washington; three special nieces, Olivia Johnson, Octavia Macon and Tiffany Richardson; three nephews, Joseph Hughes, Coleman Macon and Donte Johnson; former spouse, Rebecca Ward; brother-in-law, Razell Finch; two sisters-in-law, Angie Murray and Janica Washington; three great nieces and four great nephews; three special friends, Willie Alexander, Robert Jones and Richard Washington; a host of other relatives and friends
