Mr. James Edward Miller
Obituary
James Edward Miller passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his son Jeremy Miller.
James was born on May 14th, 1956 in Senatobia, MS. He attended Halter High School in Wellston, MO. and joined the Marines shortly after, in 1972. He served in the Marines until joining the Army National Guard in 1982.
James had a very strong passion for cooking and spent several years assisting at restaurants on The Hill. James loved being active and he took great pride in getting his day started early. He loved socializing with his friends and family all while embracing everything that makes the city of St. Louis great. He especially loved the May Day Parade, and recently started introducing the tradition to his grandchildren and great nephew.
James is lovingly remembered by his mother Mary Miller and sister Peggy Brimer. James is also remembered by 6 children (James, Chris, Lorenzo, Linda, Jazmine, and Aerika), 17 beautiful grandchildren, as well as 2 nephews (Michael and Dewayne) and 1 niece (Jennifer).
