A TIME TO BE BORN: Jerome Rodgers was born January 26, 1959 to the union of Anthau and Alberta Rodgers in St. Louis, Mo. His name is a Greek word meaning “sacred name.” His Father, Anthau Rodgers Sr; his Mother, Alberta Rodgers; his Brothers, Reginald and Anthau Rodgers Jr.; his Nephews, Timothy Fisher Jr. and Raymond Jr. Smith II; two Great Nieces and Nephews all preceded him in death.

A TIME TO LIVE: Jerome attended school in the St. Louis Public School District where he thrived. Jerome excelled academically and loved beating opponents in a friendly game of chess. Later in life, he started his own business, named “Helping Hands.”

A TIME TO LOVE: Jerome was a compassionate man who enjoyed feeding the homeless anytime he could. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a winning smile and a hardy laugh that would make you laugh with him. He was a man who truly loved his family.
