Jevon Malcom Patterson affectionately known as “Von” was born January 8, 2000 to Willie Mae Banks And Melvin Patterson. Jevon was then adopted by his Aunt Mary Ann Patterson who preceded him in death. He was then raised and cared for by a village of family members including his biological mother. Jevon earned his G.E.D then later earned a High School Diploma as well as completed a construction trade at The St. Louis Job Corps Center.
On June 6, 2020, he became a father to a beautiful baby girl Lilah Nicole Parker Patterson and would soon father a second child. Jevon enjoyed playing basketball and football, and was known for his smile, work ethic, and love for family and friends. His playful spirit kept everyone laughing and his warm demeanor comforted those around him. Although Jevon did not hold a membership at any church, he did often attend Prince of Peace Missionary Church.
On Friday March 31, 2023, Jevon Malcom Patterson was shot while cradling a baby as the car they where in was being riddled with bullets. The details in it's entirety have yet to be revealed but none the less the results for him were fatal, and just like that a hero captured his wings.
Jevon is survived by his Mother Willie Mae Banks, Father Melvin Patterson, Siblings Shemita K. Daniel, Chiquita Spinks Antonio S Parker Sr, Alarie L Parker, Qu’Ran R Banks, Melvin Patterson Jr, Melvin Patterson III, Donald Strong; Nephews Marvion R. Eskeridge, Mar’trevion R Eskridge Keshon A Parker, Antonio S Parker Jr. Semaj A. Parker and host of Uncles Aunties and Cousins.
