Mr. Larry Louis Turman

Larry Louis Turman was born on April 27, 1962 to Louis Winston and Izola Turman, who patiently await the arrival of their son in heaven. Along with his parents are his son Joshua Turman and stepson Robert Johnson who preceded him in death. Larry was the fourth of seven children born to Izola Turman.

Larry professed his love to Allah and joined the Al-mu’minus Islamic Center.

Larry’s passions included cooking; his favorite dishes were spaghetti, jack fillet, steak and potatoes. He enjoyed the game of football and basketball, watching “Naked Afraid” or his favorite movie “Titanic”. He also loved having long talks with the younger generation about life lessons.

On Saturday, May 2, 2020, Larry received his wings at the young age of 58. Larry’s personality, love and spirit will forever live in the hearts and memories of those he left behind: his devoted wife, Diane Turman; his loving children, Larry “Lil Larry” Turman, Deonta “Mookie” Turman, Danielle “Honey” Williams, Keoysha “Sugar” Turman, Bernilya “Candy” Turman, Tiffany Brown and Larriel Turman; siblings, Essie Gordon, James Turman, Carol Washington, Roberta Todd, Fredrick Turman and Jessie Turman; father and mother-in-law, Mosley Williams and Rosie Jennings; a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends.
