Paul Ervin Pride was born May 6, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Hoy and Rosie (Cole) Lee Pride, the fourth of five children: Tony M., Stanley Leo, Roland McNeal and Cheri Pride.
Paul attended Peabody Elementary School and McKinley High School from which he graduated in 1988.
Paul later became a cook earning his culinary arts certification while preparing exquisite dishes for the people of St. Louis.
Paul was a break-dancer, which is one of the basic elements of hip-hop music in addition to being a dj, rapping, graffiti and b-boying (also known as break dancing). Star Lights was the name of the group.
Paul leaves behind many precious memories of love, joy, happiness with his beloved wife, Cynthia Lee Noel Price; his children, Jamelle (Taryn), Darren and Sharonda; grandchildren, Jamelle Jr., Romelle, Darren Jr., Marissa, Shawn, Shantell and Marnique; great granddaughter, Lyric; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives an friends.
