Mr. Terrence Adrian Marshall

Our “Fella” Terrence “Terry” Adrian Marshall was born April 26, 1976, in St. Louis Missouri to Mr. John Lee Moorehead and Ms. Bertha Celesté Marshall.

He was reared and christened in the Catholic church under the guidance of his parents. As an adult Terrence observed the Arabic Faith.

Terrence primarily lived in St. Louis, Missouri; he spent a little time in the Washington D.C. area with his sister Kim. His early education was in the private Catholic school system, and he transitioned into the St. Louis Public Schools for his primary education.

Terrence met and was joined in matrimony to Carolyn Tisdale in 2000. “Fella” was a best friend, a soulmate, a fearless protector, and leader. He was Carolyn’s “Everything”! He may not have been the largest in stature, however he was “Big” in presence and personality. He was loyal, selfless, respected, and a strong willed “Man of His Word”. He had a sweet and romantic side and loved to go out bowling, have drinks and movies.

There are so many wonderful memories and stories of his life, and the many ways that he touched our lives. Terrence loved people very much. Family was always most important to him. He was a devoted husband and provider, diligent son, a dependable brother, phenomenal father and grandfather, generous uncle and cousin. In all these ways and more, he made our lives richer and fuller. Terry was Truly “A Man’s Man”. Terrence was good to his friends and employers, and they were good to Terrence. He was a hardworking chef and grill master and always wanted to open a family restaurant. He worked very hard every day to provide for his family and made sure they did not want for anything. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. Our world is a better place because we were loved by him. His love was truly genuine, unconditional and everlasting.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, his loving mother, Ms. Bertha Celesté Marshall, and father Mr. John Lee Moorehead.

We don’t know why on Monday July 26, 2021 the good Lord decided to call Our Sweet Fella/Terry home, but we do know that he called one of the best. With his memories and stories he leaves; his wife, Carolyn Tisdale Marshall; his sons, Terrence Marshall, Isaiah Tisdale Marshall, Trenton Marshall and daughters, Terrena Marshall, and Trinity Marshall; his siblings, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Carter, John “Ohnnie” Marshall, Jacqueline “Jackie” Marshall, Daniel (Delisha) Marshall, Kyle (Nikki) Marshall, and Johnzell Moorehead; his grandson, Tristan Marshall; mother-in-law Carroll Tisdale and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
