“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Terry Glenn Morrow was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 17, 1966, to the union of the late Josephious, Jr., and Annie Lo Morrow. He married the love of his life, Carmen Yvette Rodgers, in March 1996. One daughter, Brittney Alene Morrow, was born into this union.
Terry’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. At the tender age of ten, he accepted Christ as his LORD and Savior at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO, under the pastorship of Reverend Ronal C. Bridewell. He faithfully attended Sunday School and Bible Study and loved singing in the choir. Later, he moved his membership to Old Community Missionary Baptist Church in Webster Groves, MO, under the pastorship of Reverend Eric Hayes.
Terry began his education in the St. Louis Public School System, attending Washington Elementary and Enright Middle School. He graduated from Soldan International High School in 1984 and pursued further education at Central State University in Wilberforce, OH.
Terry, known as T-Row to many, was a high school and college student-athlete with an unwavering passion for sports. During his teenage and young adult years, Terry could often be found in the park, the schoolyard, the church parking lot, the basketball court, or the football field with a ball in his hands. His dedication and skills were recognized with numerous awards and accolades during high school and college. One of Terry’s proudest moments was being inducted into the Central State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021 to recognize his significant contributions as a student-athlete.
Terry began working at Contico International Inc. before joining the Post Office in July 1998. He retired in March 2020 due to health reasons.
Terry demonstrated his commitment as a father through his special relationship with his daughter, Brittney. His daughter and grandchildren meant the world to him, and he had a huge for them. He adored his family and eagerly looked forward to spending time with them. He cherished being with his Soldan High School family and CSU family. He was always excited about attending CSU homecoming in October every year. He enjoyed watching sports and playing games and loved a good game of dominoes. He was funny, a jokester, and enjoyed making people laugh. He had a great sense of humor. To know Terry was to love him.
Terry departed this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carmen Morrow; daughter, Brittney Morrow (Special Friend, Chris Estes); three grandchildren, Christopher Estes, Bryan Estes, and Catalaya Estes; four brothers and one sister, Perry (Latanya) Morrow (twin), Mary Morrow (Special friend, Robert Dandridge, Jr.), James (Vanessa) Morrow, Floyd (Tyrona) Morrow, Lloyd (Erika) Morrow; parents-in-law Gilbert and Alene Kidd, one sister-in-law, Denise Rodgers; two brothers-in-law, Keith Rodgers and Eric Easter; one adopted brother, Rev.
