On May 8,1967 Arnetta Michelle Box was born at City Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Dianne Box an L.C. Lacey.
Arnetta accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior early in life at Kossuth Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Ward. Additionally, she was Baptized in Jesus name.
Arnetta attended St. Louis Public Schools. She then furthered her education to obtain a degree in dental assisting.
“Shell” as her family and friends always called her, enjoyed family and shopping. She was always available for anyone in their time of need. She loved to eat and travel. She lived and breathed for her two grandchildren Emanuel Cortez Boyd and Emonie Janae Boyd “her mini me”. They were the loves of her life. She was an active member in the church she was on the usher board and choir member. She was the rock of the family always trying to keep the family together with family gatherings, family fun nights. When she loved you, she loved you hard? She would always have your back and never give up on you.
On February 24, 2001 she united in Holy matrimony with Joe Edward Brownlee. These two struck the right romantic tone as they loved and cared for each other until God called her home on March 28, 2021.
Arnetta Brownlee was preceded in death by her parents Dianne Box and L.C. Lacey, and sister Deborah Ann Box. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Joe Edward Brownlee; two children Mikkel Dwayne Box and Keshia Shan’e Cauthen; her grandchildren Emanuel Cortez Boyd and Emonie Janae Boyd; her sister Rhonda P. Bayscaplous and brother Michael D. Box, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
