Mrs. Emma Paul Obituary

Emma Lee Peggie Paul was born March 15, 1947 in Parkin, Arkansas to Charlie Parker and Christine (Rogers) Parker.

Emma was an exceptionally smart woman. As a young lady, she read the encyclopedia from cover to cover. With determination, she even taught herself shorthand and superb typing skills. Emma also loved to look pretty. She took pride in being a beautiful woman.

Emma's greatest love was for Jehovah God. He was truly the source of her strength and she instilled the love of Jehovah in her children. Her children meant the world to her and she often sacrificed in order for them to live a better life than she could provide.

Emma departed this life on December 7, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Paul Sr.; father, Charlie Parker and mother, Christine Parker-Calhoun; siblings, Erma Clark, Jessie James, Frank James, and Perry Strong Jr.; children, Rhonda Fountain-Parker, Lloyd Parker, and Lately Thomas; grandson, Charlie Parker.

Emma leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Ameree Parker, Andrew Parker (Myzonia), George Tucker (Danielle), O’Dakota Parker-Hill, Tommie Lee Paul Jr. (Shennyka), Tomitha Paul, and Parsephone’ Coates; one sister, Charline Parker-Pugh; twenty-one grandchildren, De’Andre Jackson, Aundrian Jackson (Caramel), Aundrea Jackson, Arisha Parker, Ashley Parker, Erica LePaul Parker, Lloyd Parker Jr., Je’Mere Taylor, Johnnie Taylor, Le’Tome Paul, Tomiah Paul, Mortellus Brown Jr., Jasmine Coates, Quinyche Mims, Pricella Mims, Oktavas Thomas, Diamond Thomas and four additional granddaughters; ten great grandchildren; JeAun “Choppa” Benson, Marquis Smith, JoVan Jackson, DeAndre Jackson, Eric Jackson, Damon Newton, Jada Parker, Janyl Parker, Kajon Harmon, and Angelo Rhainey; one great-great granddaughter, Aleesia Benson; special nieces, Pamela Reed, Carla Strong and Nefereria Parker; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Emma is also survived by Debra Triplett, Rochelle Gordon, Geraldine Johnson, and Gerald Walls, all children from other mothers respectfully.
