Joann Moody-Allen was born on November 11, 1949 in Wynne, Arkansas. to Joe Jones and Annie Mae Taylor. Joann was preceded in death by both parents, her spouse, her youngest daughter, her oldest grandson, three brothers and two sisters.
Joann was a private person and always believed in keeping your business to yourself so I will give you a glimpse of her kindness.
Joann was quiet but truly a protector. Joann loved her family very dearly and would go the extra mile to ensure they were taken care of in every aspect. Her heart also extended to her neighbors as well. She would feed and clothe them, and would even give them errands and odd jobs she was capable of doing so they could make money. Because of her love and kindness, she became the Mom, Grandma, Aunt, and Sister of the neighborhood.
On December 17, 2023, her work was done here so God called her home surrounded by family and friends. Joann will be truly missed however her memory will live on and be cherished by her oldest daughter Felecia A. Jordan of St Louis, Mo; son Rashid C. Taylor of Canal Winchester, OH; one sister Geneva Benton of St Louis, Mo; two brothers Willie D. Campbell of St. Louis, Mo; Dee Jones (Carolyn) of Topeka, KS; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
