Mrs. Loistine Palmer Obituary

Loistine “Lois” Palmer passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 4 th , 2021 after her battle with Alzheimer’s. she was 73 years old. Lois was born as Loistine Smith on Dec. 3 rd , 1947 in Dumas Ark. To Irene (Murphy) and Andrew Smith Jr. who both preceded her in death.

She was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother and her beautiful life will be cherished by her daughters Jeanette Palmer and Theresa Ojukwu her Son In-law George Ojukwu, her 8 grandchildren Joseph Guy, Zipora Walls (Keyonne), Kamika Kirby (Travis), Tysheia Mallett, Randall Palmer, and Tyrelle Palmer. Her 12 great grandchildren Carmen Brooks, Alissa Brooks, Emma Kirby, Jake Kirby, Zy'Airah Palm, Keyonne Walls Jr., KyLen Walls, Sha'Niya Mallett, Queen Weekley, Kwame Weekley Jr., Ayden Palmer and JaCobi Brooks

Lois was deeply passionate about the things she loved to do, and cooking was one to them. Everything that she cooked was amazingly made from scratch, made with love, and she got so much joy when people ate her food. She also enjoyed crocheting and putting puzzles together. Lois was very caring and loving to the ones that was dear to her. She had her own special way of loving you but yet she’ll correct you all at the same time.

She was loved by all her siblings. She was preceded in death by Charles Grimes, Charles Daniels, and Tommy Poole. She is survived by her other siblings. Eddie J. Waller (Donald), Mildred Amadi, of Kansas City, MO. Christeen Lawson, Flint MI. Andrew (Robin) Smith III, Indiana. John Smith, Roy (Irene) Smith, Priscilla (Alphonso) Madden, Felicia Smith of Dumas AR, Teretha (Teenie) Smith of Flint, MI and Carylon Smith- Williams of Detroit, MI, Beatrice Smith, Leon Smith, Sonja Smith of Sheridan, AR and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
