Nicole Denise Gilliam, born on March 16, 1976, to Sandra Gilliam and Ivory McKinzie, departed from this world on 10 November 2023. She was a beacon of love and compassion whose presence touched the lives of all who knew her.
Nikki, as she was affectionately known, began her journey at Hazelwood Central High School, where she laid the groundwork for a life dedicated to the well-being of others. On May 20, 2000, she joined in matrimony with Calton Crawford, and together they shared the joys and challenges of life, welcoming their cherished daughter, Jasmine Gilliam-Crawford.
Nikki's professional journey led her to a fulfilling career in healthcare, where her innate love for people shone brightly. Her nurturing spirit and genuine concern for the well- being of others left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she cared for.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Nikki found solace and joy in the uplifting notes of gospel music. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, providing strength and inspiration. Family held a special place in her heart, and she relished moments spent in the company of her loved ones, creating a tapestry of memories filled with laughter and love.
Nicole Denise Gilliam leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Calton Crawford, and their beloved daughter, Jasmine Gilliam- Crawford. Her memory is cherished by her mother, Sandra Shaw (David), father, Ivory McKinzie, siblings Shanice Gilliam, Larry Ketchum (Ashley), Marlana Ketchum, Latasha Ketchum, Ivory McKinzie, Patrick McKinzie, Nicorra McKinzie, Christopher Power, Tyrondick McKinzie, Ventrell McKinzie (deceased) Ike McKinzie Jr. (deceased), Ike McKinzie Jr. (deceased) and a network of family and friends who were touched by her kindness.
