Mrs. Salome Turner was born to Joseph and Mary Robinson on May 22, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri. Her parents and only sister, Audery Adams preceded her in death.
Salome married William Turner of St. Louis, Missouri. They spent many happy years together until his passing in 2004.
Salome was a devout Catholic and spent many years as an Usher at her church St. Augustine Catholic Church under direction of Father Bob Gettinger.
Salome also worked in food service as head chef for 30+ years at Vashon High School in St. Louis, Missouri, until her retirement.
Salome departed this life on the morning of April 5, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory: nieces and nephews, Renee Adams-Peterson and husband Richard Peterson, Myra Adams, Anthony Adams and his children Tyson, Desiree, and Xavier all of St. Louis, Mo., Mary Kryah and her husband Lee Naive of Las Vegas, NV, special mention of two close friends Lovie Moore and Lucretia (Lucy); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her family "Loved" her very much and she will be missed beyond measure... may she "Rest in Peace" with Jesus until we meet again.
