Mrs. Vicky D. Sharp made her entrance into this world, on Sunday November 18, 1956, to the union of Grady T. Wade and Loretta Fay Fuqua in Mounds, Illinois Both her parents and one of her sibling Carolyn Wilbert, preceded her in death. Vicky was the oldest of four children, sister Carla Young and brother Tristan Tate. Vicky departed this life at 12:07 am on Saturday May 25, 2024.
Vicky Sharp, a dedicated school bus driver for 29 years and a lover of singing and sewing, has left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She found joy in karaoke, creating a karaoke family that shared her passion. Vicky was known for calling everyone on their birthdays to serenade them with a special rendition of the happy birthday song, bringing excitement and anticipation to those celebrations.
Vicky's love and devotion to her family were always evident, and her union with Michael Sharp in 1977 brought forth five children: Trina (Melvin Dunn father), Franshelda, Turquoise, Barry Michael, and Michael Barry (who preceded her in death). Vicky's memory will be cherished by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her legacy lives on through those she touched, and her kindness and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vicky Sharp's presence will be
deeply missed, but the impact of her love and care will endure through the lives she has touched.
