Asia Andrea Lotts was born April 13, 1995, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the first-born child to young parents, April Lotts and Victor Wilson, and with the help of their village- they raised a beautiful and charismatic young woman.
“Poohdey” or “Tweetybird” as she was affectionally known by family and friends was full of life and laughter. Asia loved to travel and party with family and friends. She was educated in the Hazelwood School District for the entire academic journey and was on the high school’s wrestling team. After graduating in 2013, she attended St. Louis Community College and
received her degree in Human Services. Asia’s kind and caring spirit made her an asset to Sunnyhill Incorporated where she’d taken care of developmentally challenged individuals and had been employed for over a year. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Solomon’s Temple Church with her G-mama. Poohdey’s love for dance allowed her to participate in the church’s praise dance ministry and other church activities.
Our beloved Asia, a.k.a “Poohdey” departed this life on June 9, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving parents, April Lotts and Victor (Shana) Wilson; her siblings, Ashlee Lotts, whom she lovingly called, “Brother”, Victoria Wilson, Maleiyah Wilson, Victor II, Phor Wilson, Orlando Williams, Kierez Logan, her grandparents that pampered and spoiled her beyond measures; Patricia Shavers, Lee Lotts, Debra “Gmama” Wilson, Alfonzo “Papa” Wilson; her aunts, Dana Shavers, who witnessed her world debut, and Tandra Wilson; her uncles, William Shavers and Mark McConnell; her lifelong best friends, Levator Barnes, Lyric Barnes, J’lia Broomfield, and Kira Lee; an abundance of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
