Ms. Bernice Sesson

Bernie Sesson was born May 7, 1935 in Senatobia, Mississippi to the late Lee and Georgia Mae (Miles) Miller. Her parents, husband L.C. Sesson, and son William Miller all preceded her in death.

Bernice accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. In 1971, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she would make her home for over fifty-three years.

Bernice enjoyed cooking and talking on the phone. She also enjoyed watching television, particularly The Price Is Right and her soap operas. Above all, Bernice loved her family and found joy in taking care of everyone’s children.

Bernice departed this earthly life on April 3, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Ruby Bledsoe and Mary Bobo, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
