Darlene Cross was born March 13, 1954 to Annie and Albert in St. Louis, Missouri, Her parents, son Bernard Cross, sister Lullie Ann and brother Carl Reed preceded her in death.
Darlene was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. She later furthered her education and earned her CNA certification.
Known as “O.G” by her children because of her many triumphs as a single mom of six, Darlene was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She married, loved and lived life to it’s fullest until the Lord called her home.
Darlene departed this life on October 12, 2022. She is truly missed and loved by all who loved & knew her.
She leaves behind: five children, Latasha Jackson, Patrice Reed, Patrick Hibler, Percy, Robinson and Takesha Cross; siblings, Major Douglas, Betty Beverly, Earis Vails, Mary Lovette and sister-in-law, Jackie Douglas; grandchildren, Darlishia, Dana, Dana L. and Darrion Moore, Isaiah Harper, Reginald Bills, Thomas, Mason, Crystal Pfaff, Cornelius and Tyler Dominguez, Brittany, Breanna and Bernard Cross, Maurice, Marvadus, Pystal, Phadell, Patigue, Peshy and Phalaysia Robinson, Ollie and Victasia Hunt, Vontay Cross; special niece, Deborah Bailey; and a host of great grandchildren and numerous other loved ones.
