Ms. Diane Edwards

Diane “Lady Dy” Edwards was born on November 27, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois. Diane was a generous and loving woman who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandson, Etheria and granddaughter, Nariyah. She also cherished her close friendships with Maxine and Mattie.

Professing her love for Christ early on, Diane found solace and strength in her faith.

Diane attended Williams Elementary for her primary education and later graduated from Beaumont Senior Highschool.

She had a successful career spanning over 20 years. In her free time, Diane enjoyed cooking, reading books and listening to music.

Diane is survived by her three children, Cedric, Nikie and Nina, as well as her dedicated siblings, Teddi Ann, Marcia, and Deondra. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Edwards; father, William Hayes; brother, Timothy Edwards; and grandmother, Polly Mae Edwards.
