Ms. Kristen R. Whitted

Kristen “Krissy” Renee Whitted was born November 4, 1974 in St. Louis County, Missouri to Fred T. and Beverly A. Whitted. She was a dedicated mother and partner, ambitious daughter, loyal sister, loving grandmother and so, so much more to the many people who loved her.

Kristen graduated from Berkley High School in 1994 where she was a cheerleader and member of the track team. She then went on to the University of Missouri at St. Louis where she studied Business Management. On June 25, 1999, she married Eric Page and they raised a family together.

Above all else, Kristen took most pride in being a present and involved mother to her two children, Byron and Maysen. Her ultimate Joy originated from her love and support of them. Byron Whitted was born February 14, 1991 and Maysen Page was born November 4, 2004; Maysen and Kristen shared a birthday. She would do anything for her children, and her number one priority was to make sure they were taken care of and had the brightest future. Because of her trusting presence, both of her children shared a special bond with her.

In 2013, Kristen met her partner, Brooke. They settled with Maysen in Bridgeton, Missouri in 2015.

Kristen was an amazing cook, constantly showcasing her meal prep and vegetarian culinary skills. She was an avid Pittsburg Steelers, Wu-Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest and Green Day fan. Kristen was a women’s group leader at One Family Church. She was enrolled to obtain Master’s degree in Computer Science, and was learning Arabic just because. Kristen will be remembered for being witty and practical, honest and loving, and most importantly being uniquely herself to us all.

Kristen was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly. She is survived by her two children, Byron (Sierra) Whitted of Lawrence, Ks and Maysen Page of Bridgeton, Mo; her parents, Fred and Brenda Whitted of O’Fallon, Mo; three younger brothers, Michael (Elysha) Whitted of Portsmouth, Va, Fred (Shannon) Whitted of Omaha, Ne and Brenden (Alexia) Whitted of Omaha, Ne; her grandson, Rowan of Lawrence, Ks; three nephews, three nieces, three uncles, two aunts and a host of cousins and close friends.
