Ms. Latrice Miller Obituary

Latrice Shanta Miller, 38, born December 9, 1981 to proud parents, Ministers, Michael & Patricia Miller. Latrice arrived at Barnes Jewish Christian Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri, weighing 8lbs 9oz. As Latrice grew up from a happy smiling baby girl to teens, she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Latrice was very well loved by the Youth Ministry and the people of her home church, Victory Christian Outreach, under the leadership of Apostle Lee & Doris Rice. Latrice was a beautiful gift from God to this world. A Phenomenal Artist,- Singer, Song Writer, and Poet, she touched the lives of many in a positive way with encouraging words to help brighten up a person's day. Trice would give away everything she owned, you owned, or anyone else owned, to help any and every one in need.

Latrice was educated in the public schools of St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Sumner High School. She furthered her education and received a Cosmetology Degree, a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and a Masseuse. She had healing hands and didn't mind using her God given gift to bring comfort to others. Latrice's loving, giving, patient spirit assisted with providing health care to her elderly grandfather, Elder Willie Wallace (87), grandmother, Ethel Wallace (83), and aunt, Earnestine Lyles (68), who made their transition before her. With joy, respect, and honor, Latrice loved taking care of God's servants.

Many talked about the love of God, while Latrice Miller showed the love of God. Her street ministry in the community included interacting with little children, sharing fun times with them, as well as, extending a helping hand to adults, will not be forgotten. Last but not least, weeks before Latrice's passing, she was extremely happy. She was recently engaged to be married in a few weeks to the love of her life, Mr. Paul Saunders of Atlanta, Georgia.

To everyone who loved her, it is okay to cry because she will be missed. Our hearts were broken to hear that our daughter's life was taken by a sudden automobile accident. Remember for your safety to always buckle up. Our words of encouragement to you, if you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, accept God as your Savior so that when it is your time to die, you will be ready for your sure eternal home, "Heaven". We will see our daughter again some day in heaven.

She leaves to cherish her memory two loving sons, Jerred Shannon, St. Louis, MO and Jonathan Stevenson, Pasadena, CA; parents, Elder Michael & Patricia Miller; siblings, Michael C. Miller and Crystal (Bobby) Jones; one nephew, Mikelyn Miller; two nieces, Mahavelyn Miller and Neriah Jones; uncles Jesse Ray Miller, Sr., Buffalo, NY, Marc Miller, Los Angeles, CA, Larry Lee Miller (Yuka), Okinawa, Japan, Charles E.
