Marnice Renee Thomas (Pig) was born November 9, 1967 in Saint Louis, Mo to Samuel Tate and Anise Thomas (Peaches) who preceded her in death.
Marnice was educated at Vashon High School, Normandy High School (Class of 1986), and Lincoln University. She received her Associates Degree at Florissant Valley Community College and her Bachelor of Science at Lindenwood University in 2016.
Marnice accepted Christ at an early age and joined Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church at 1444 Goodfellow, where she was active in the choir, health unit, and Sunday School. She was employed at Walmart and Southwestern Bell now AT&T for almost 15 years.
She leaves cherished precious memories to her only son Nicholas E. Knox, one granddaughter Peyton (PeyPey) Knox, her parents Samuel Tate (Cheryl Tate) Frank Roberts and Calvin Stokes; brother Dwayne E Mollison (Tawana R Mollison), Samuel Tate Jr., Aaron Tate, and sisters Tamara Tate, Lillian Tate, Robbin Nichols, Brande Thomas, Kellie Shelton, and Jade Pounds; aunts Rhonda Tate, Lisa Lewis, Barbara Meadows, and Barbara Jones; uncle Jerome Wilson (Paula Wilson) and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
