On August 21, 1954, in St. Mary Hospital in St. Louis Mo. Norma Jean Ross was born to parents Pastor Eugene Ross Sr. (who preceded her in death) and mother Willie Etta Ross. Norma was a very likable person who loved everybody, especially children with disabilities.
She was very faithful, dependable, and had an outgoing personality. Norma love to sing as she played the piano for many churches. She also was the secretary of Holy Ghost Temple C.O.G.I.C where she accepted Christ Jesus as her personal Savior. In 2012 she became a member of Higher Heights Deliverance C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of Superintendent Melvin Kindle and Evangelist Beverly Kindle.
Norma graduated from Soldan High School then continued her education at a local university. She worked for Bi-State and Bellefontaine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center until her health began to fail. She was reminded to put her hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and was able to leave the workforce.
Norma quietly departed this life Tuesday March 9, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Ross Sr., and two brothers Eugene Ross Jr. and Cornelius Ross.
Norma leaves to cherish her memory, her mother (Willie Etta Ross), two sons (Antawan T. Ross and Jerry L. Ross), three siblings (Priestly, Verniadean, and Wanda). seven grandchildren, (Sariha, Simora, Leriah, Maleek, Antwan Jr., Imani and Shavonna), and a host of devoted nieces.
